As the monsoon poses a potential threat to the upcoming Dussehra rallies of both the Shiv Sena and the Shiv Sena (UBT), Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday urged party workers from flood-hit regions to skip the Mumbai rally

According to reports, he emphasised that their priority should be assisting flood-affected residents in their local areas

Shinde added that only workers from Mumbai, Thane, and nearby regions should attend the rally

Meanwhile, Maharashtra BJP's chief spokesperson Keshav Upadhye on Monday demanded that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray cancel his party's annual Dussehra rally and utilise the expenditure for flood relief in Marathwada
