During the 24-hour period between 8 am on June 25 and 8 am on June 26, Mumbai recorded 0.60 mm of rainfall

The eastern suburbs received 6.80 mm, while the western suburbs registered 2.65 mm

Earlier in the day, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had issued a public advisory as the city braced for the highest tide of the monsoon season on June 26 

The IMD's Santacruz observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 31.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27.9 degrees Celsius on Thursday

Meanwhile, the water levels in lakes supplying drinking water to Mumbai have risen following heavy rainfall in their catchment areas. According to the BMC data, the combined stock in the seven reservoirs that provide water to the city now stands at 35.97 per cent
