The IMD predicted that Mumbai was expected to experience partly cloudy skies on Wednesday, with the possibility of light to moderate rain showers across the city and its suburban areas. Pics/Sameer Abedi

Earlier, between 8 am on June 3 and 8 am on June 4, the island city recorded 21.91 mm of rainfall

The eastern suburbs received 20.41 mm, while the western suburbs registered the highest at 25.80 mm, indicating moderate precipitation across the city

On June 4, a high tide of 3.60 meters was expected at 7:01 pm. The following morning, on June 5 at 8:24 am, another high tide of 3.19 meters is anticipated

Low tides are predicted at 1:42 AM (1.68 meters) and 1:46 pm (2.26 meters) on June 5

Mumbai has been witnessing rains on regular intervals since the arrival of monsoon in Maharashtra
