Earlier, NCP (SP) leaders had urged the government to take strict action and ensure that justice is served for the deceased doctor and her family
NCP (SP) had earlier on Saturday expressed grave concern in Satara doctor death case and demanded strict action in the matter
“The authorities must investigate why the doctor was being pressurised by the MP, his aides, and police officials to issue fake fitness certificates for arrested persons,” NCP (SP) spokesperson Clyde Crasto had earlier said
A 28-year-old woman doctor, posted at a government hospital in Satara, was found dead in a hotel room in Phaltan on Thursday night. Her note alleged that police sub-inspector (PSI) had raped her multiple times, while the other accused had mentally harassed her
Meanwhile, several leaders on Thursday met the kin of the woman doctor and assured them of all support in the fight for justice
