Among those who joined the Shiv Sena were Amit Bhadricha, Ashish Padhyar and Vinayak Daire, who held positions in the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction's Maharashtra social media organisation, an official statement issued by Shinde's office said

Mumbai-level office-bearers Prathamesh Borhade, Swapnil Sawant, advocate Dakshata Thakur and Sushant Kavir also joined the party along with their supporters

The Shiv Sena said the entry of these office-bearers would give a further boost to its social media network in the state and Mumbai

Shrikant Shinde welcomed the new members into the party and wished them success in their political and social work

He called on the new entrants to work together to strengthen the party organisation and communicate the Shiv Sena's ideology and development work more effectively to the public
