The weather department has issued a 'yellow' alert for Mumbai, forecasting heavy showers at isolated places on Wednesday

Vehicles were seen moving slowly, with long lines forming in some areas

In a nowcast warning issued at 5 pm on Wednesday, the IMD Mumbai said that moderate to intense spells of rain very likely to occur at isolated places during next 3-4 hours

Earlier in the day, the weather department had predicted that the city and its suburbs were likely to experience a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated locations

Meanwhile, tidal patterns indicate a high tide of 4.02 meters at 4:57 PM today, followed by a low tide at 11:32 PM measuring 1.61 meters

On Thursday, June 19, a high tide of 3.38 meters is expected at 5:47 AM, while the next low tide is forecast at 11:21 AM with a height of 1.87 meters
