IN PHOTOS: Four-wheeler catches fire in Thane building; no injuries reported

A four-wheeler caught fire in the early hours of Saturday in a parking building at Lodha Crown, Majiwada in Thane (West), officials said. No injuries were reported in the incident

According to information received by the disaster management cell at 1.59 am from the Balkum Fire Station, a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz parked on the 10th floor of the parking structure behind Lodha Crown Building No 2, caught fire.

The parking facility comprises a ground-plus-11-storey structure

Personnel from the disaster management cell reached the spot with a pickup vehicle, while fire brigade personnel arrived with a fire engine

 

The fire damaged the front portion of the car

The blaze was brought under control and completely extinguished by around 2.20 am with the combined efforts of the fire brigade and disaster management staff

Officials said the situation was under control and no one was injured in the incident
