Mumbai continued to experience clear skies along with hot and humid conditions on Sunday
Earlier in the day, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that the city was likely to witness warm daytime temperatures, with humidity adding to the discomfort for residents
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degree Celsius, while the minimum is likely to settle near 27 degree Celsius, with humidity levels at about 63 per cent
The minimum temperatures on Sunday morning were recorded at 27.5 degree Celsius in Colaba and 28.1 degree Celsius in Santacruz, with no rainfall reported across stations
Many people were seen carrying water bottles, using umbrellas and taking breaks under shaded areas
