The Voter Adhikar Yatra was flagged off on Sunday from Sasaram. This 16-day campaign has been launched to oppose the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar and highlight alleged "vote chori." Covering more than 1,300 km and over 20 districts, the rally will conclude in Patna on September 1

Earlier, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar categorically rejected Rahul Gandhi’s recent accusations of "vote theft" during a press conference in New Delhi

The CEC described the allegations made by the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha as an "insult" to the Indian Constitution. He also asked Rahul Gandhi to either submit a signed affidavit in support of his claims or apologise to the nation for his remarks

Rahul Gandhi, serving as the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, responded sharply to Gyanesh Kumar’s statement. He alleged that the Election Commission was demanding an affidavit only from him, while no such demand was made from BJP MP Anurag Thakur, despite him making similar claims

He said, "The Election Commission asks for an affidavit from me. But when Anurag Thakur says the same thing that I am saying, it does not ask for an affidavit from him"
