Governor Devvrat has been given additional charge as the Governor of Maharashtra following the elevation of CP Radhakrishnan to the office of Vice-President of India
He was accompanied by his spouse, Darshana Devi, during the journey to his appointment
Subsequently, the Vice-President visited Parliament House Complex
On his arrival at the Parliament House Complex, he was welcomed by Union Ministers, the Deputy Chairman, Harivansh, and the Secretary-General, Rajya Sabha
Governor Acharya Devvrat will be sworn in as the Governor of Maharashtra at a ceremony that will be held at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Mumbai
