According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon has advanced further into Vidarbha, and conditions are favourable for its continued progress in the coming days

The rains have helped cool temperatures and replenish water sources, but they have also caused waterlogging and traffic disruptions in some urban areas

Amidst rains, civic authorities are managing multiple complaints related to rain incidents, prompting increased vigilance and deployment from emergency services

The local meteorological department here has issued an 'orange' alert for heavy rain at isolated places of Mandi and Shimla districts on Saturday while a 'yellow' warning has been issued for Bilapsur, Solan and Sirmaur districts

Rains lashed several parts of Delhi-NCR on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a red alert for Delhi and surrounding areas, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by hail, moderate to heavy rainfall, and gusty winds reaching speeds of 50-70 kilometres per hour at isolated places

According to IMD in the coming days many parts are likely to experience more widespread rainfall across the country

Heavy rains lashed parts of Odisha, Maharashtra (including Mumbai), and Bareilly today, causing widespread disruption and varying impacts
