The state goes to polls in a few months. The NDA government, headed by Kumar, looks to come back to power amid a stiff competition from the Mahagathbandhan alliance, comprising the RJD, Congress and other parties

The vehicle in which PM Modi reached the venue was painted in saffron, a colour that has become emblematic of the BJP. It was also decked with flowers. The PM's convoy made its way amid chants of "Modi! Modi!" till the venue

 

In the recent past, the PM reached venues of his functions in Bihar, perched atop an open vehicle, on at least two occasions

After the roadshow, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects, including in the water, rail, and power sectors

PM Modi will also release the first instalment to more than 53,600 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) in Bihar
