The state-of-the-art Param Pragya facility is expected to strengthen IIT Delhi’s capabilities in artificial intelligence, data science, advanced computing and interdisciplinary research.

PM Modi participated in the 57th Convocation Ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and addressed the graduating students.

More than 3,000 students received their degrees during the convocation ceremony, including 587 PhD scholars.

PM Modi conferred IIT Delhi’s most prestigious honours, including the President’s Gold Medal, Director’s Gold Medal, Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal and Perfect Ten Gold Medals.

The gold medals were presented to students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance during their time at IIT Delhi.

IIT Delhi Board of Governors Chairperson Harish Salve and institute Director Prof Rangan Banerjee felicitated Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi.
