The Prime Minister unveils the name Seva Teerth, calling the complex “humbly dedicated to the nation” to serve the people of India

PM Modi also inaugurates Kartavya Bhavan-1 and 2 which will accommodate ministries including Corporate Affairs, Culture, Law & Justice, Information & Broadcasting, Agriculture, Chemicals & Fertilisers, and Tribal Affairs

The new complex features digitally integrated offices, centralised reception areas, and dedicated public interface zones for better citizen engagement and governance and is built to 4-star GRIHA standards

Seva Teerth also houses the National Security Council Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat, strengthening high-level administrative coordination

The PM signs a document at the newly inaugurated office complex, in New Delhi where Minister Jitendra Singh and others are also seen

PM Modi said on X: “With an unwavering resolve to serve the people of India and guided by the sacred spirit of Nagrik devo Bhava, Seva Teerth is humbly dedicated to the nation… May it inspire generations to walk the path of selfless service.”

For decades, key government offices operated from fragmented, ageing buildings, causing inefficiencies and high costs. The new Central Vista complexes consolidate ministries into modern, future-ready facilities for better coordination and work environments.
