Modi arrived in Canada on Monday evening (local time), marking his first visit to the country in a decade. He is expected to hold discussions with world leaders on key global issues, including energy security, technology, and innovation

The PM will be meeting various leaders at the summit and share his thoughts on important global issues. He said he will also be emphasising the priorities of the Global South

Modi, on a three-nation tour, arrived in Canada after visiting Cyprus. He is scheduled to visit Croatia following the G7 Summit

He will also hold several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit, which comes just over a month after India’s Operation Sindoor targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack
