Republic Day's parade prepartion underway at Shivaji Park, Dadar in Mumbai Pic/Pradeep Dhivar

As the city gears for the Republic Day celebration, the Mumbai Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory near the roads around Shivaji Park in Dadar for the Republic Day parade. As per the advisory, all roads around the Shivaji Park area will be closed to traffic on January 26

Republic Day is celebrated throughout India with great fervour. The day is also commemorated as Constitution Day. For the celebration, in Mumbai, the Traffic Police issued a notification order to prevent danger, obstructions and inconveniences to the public. For citizens planning to attend the Republic Day parade in the national capital on January 26, the Ministry of Defence is distributing over 32,000 tickets. Citizens who want to enjoy the grand parade live can see it on the Press Bureau of India and Doordarshan TV channel. The Republic Day parade will also be live-streamed on the government's official website, https://indianrdc.mod.gov.in
