Addressing the House, Gandhi said the world is witnessing “intensifying geopolitical conflict,” with the dominance of the United States being challenged by China, Russia and other emerging powers
“The dominance of the United States is being challenge,” Gandhi remarked, pointing to a shift away from a unipolar world towards a new and uncertain global balance of power
Referring to earlier remarks by the Prime Minister and the National Security Adviser, Gandhi said, “In fact, we are moving into the era of war,” arguing that global developments suggest growing instability
He cited ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, tensions in the Middle East, the threat involving Iran, and Operation Sindoor as signs of an increasingly volatile security environment
Gandhi concluded that the US dollar and American supremacy are being challenged, saying the world is shifting “from a world of one superpower to some new world that really we can’t predict.”
