A special team of caregivers from Air India have arrived in Ahmedabad to provide support to the teams operating on the ground, the airline said.
Air India said that among the 242 passengers onboard, 169 were Indians, 53 Britishers, seven Portuguese and one a Canadian national
The aircraft crashed into a nearby hostel seconds after takeoff at 1.39 pm
