Hungarian Police said the crash may have been caused by the driver falling asleep

The driver was taken into custody as authorities began investigating the accident

According to Hungary’s National Directorate for Disaster Management, 57 passengers and two drivers were on board

Several passengers were trapped underneath the overturned vehicle and had to be rescued

The passengers were from Poland’s southeastern Podkarpackie region and were returning from a pilgrimage in Bosnia-Herzegovina, according to the regional government in Rzeszow.
