CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp kicked off the event with a passionate speech, stating that conservatives worldwide are engaged in a struggle against "globalists," whom he labeled as enemies of faith, family, and freedom

CPAC, the United States' premier conservative conference, is often called the "Woodstock for conservatives," a nod to the iconic 1969 music festival. Since its inception in 1974, the event originally focused on advocating for fiscal conservatism and a strong foreign policy but has gradually become dominated by the Trump faction of the Republican Party

The Warsaw meeting features several traditional US conservative activists known from domestic CPAC events, whose influence has grown due to their close ties with the Trump administration.

Following several CPAC meetings in Budapest, the Poland gathering continues the effort to connect with conservative populists worldwide. CPAC has also held events in Japan, South Korea, Mexico City, and Israel, aiming to expand the global conservative movement
