Moreover the External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met US Energy Secretary Chris Wright and discussed on  opportunities for a deeper India-US energy partnership

While the US-India COMPACT  (Catalysing Opportunities for Military Partnership, Accelerated Commerce and Technology) initiative, aimed at transformative change, was a key focus during discussions between EAM Jaishankar and US officials

Building on growing convergences, India and the US are advancing cooperation across vital sectors like trade, security, and critical technologies

In a post on 'X', Jaishankar stated that his discussion with US Energy Secretary Chris Wright covered India's ongoing shift towards new energy sources and explored how India and the US can work together more closely on energy matters
