During the Asia Cup 2025 clash against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka played a knock of 50 runs off just 34 deliveries. His knock was laced with six boundaries and a maximum (Pic: X/@ICC)
With this, he became the third Sri Lankan player to complete 2000 runs in T20Is (Pic: X/@ICC)
So far, in 69 T20I matches for Sri Lanka, Nissanka has accumulated 2000 runs, including 16 half-centuries. His top score in the format is 90 runs (Pic: X/@ICC)
