Team India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is eight wickets shy of completing his tally of 50 scalps against South Africa. So far, he has featured in nine Test matches against the Proteas and has bagged 42 wickets

Jadeja also needs just 10 runs to complete his tally of 4000 runs in the longest format for India. Having played 87 matches, the left-hander has garnered 3990 runs, with the help of six tons and 27 half-centuries

Team India skipper Shubman Gill requires 161 runs to accomplish the feat of completing 3000 runs in the traditional format of the game. So far, he has played 39 matches and has scored 2839 runs

One of Team India's premier batsmen, KL Rahul, is falling short of just 15 runs to achieve the feat of 4000 runs in the format. He has made 65 Test appearances for India and has scored 3985 runs, including 11 centuries and 20 half-centuries

Dhruv Jurel has so far played seven Test matches for India and has scored 430 runs. He is just 70 runs short of completing 500 runs in the format. The right-hander also has a century and a half-century to his name
