During the run chase of 228 runs, stand-in skipper Jitesh Sharma delivered a captain's knock by smashing an unbeaten 85 runs off just 33 deliveries. His knock was laced with eight boundaries and six maximums

With this, Bengaluru registered their highest successful chase and third-highest total in the tournament's history

They also achieved the feat of becoming the first-ever team to win all seven away matches in the league

Previously, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians registered seven wins in the 2012 edition, but lost a match each away from their home

With the win over LSG, the Rajat Patidar-led RCB also sealed their spot in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2025. They will lock horns against Punjab Kings on May 29 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium
