Arsenal faced Everton in a tight match with neither team creating clear-cut chances. Both teams were in a deadlock at halftime at 0-0

Viktor Gyokeres came off the bench and scored the opener in the 89th minute. Arsenal went on to win 2-0 with a late goal from 16-year-old Max Dowman securing the three points.

After Arsenal's win, Manchester City played away to West Ham United, knowing anything other than a win would put them further behind in the title race

Manchester City opened the scoring but were soon pushed back by West Ham. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, sliding Man City further behind in the title race.

Arsenal's 2-0 win and Manchester City' 1-1 draw have put the Gunners in a commanding position in the title race. Arsenal are nine points clear at the top with seven more games to go.
