From customised blouse work to boutique orders, a growing number of entrepreneurs are turning embroidery into a source of income using compact machines that allow production on a smaller scale.

It is this shift toward independent embroidery businesses that brands like HSW have been building technology for over the past decade. At a launch event in Bangalore, actress Pranitha Subhash unveiled the company’s latest machine, Turbo 1.5, as part of a new lineup of single head embroidery machines developed for this growing segment of embropreneurs.
