The 25^th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, celebrating its silver jubilee, was held with grandeur and magnificence at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre, Rajasthan. The event, which took place on March 8 and 9, was a historic occasion, as the prestigious IIFA trophy was specially crafted in silver to commemorate 25 glorious years of honoring cinematic excellence.

At the request of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the IIFA chose Jaipur as the host city to mark this special occasion in a truly royal and traditional manner. The event was inaugurated by Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and renowned filmmaker Karan Johar. The star-studded night was hosted by Karan Johar and popular Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, adding their charm and wit to the spectacular evening.
