Among the specialists contributing to this transformation is Dr. Vivek Viswanathan, a Vadodara-based Consultant Paediatric Urologist, Robotic & Minimal Access Paediatric Surgeon, educator, researcher, and author. Following his participation in a Guinness World Records-recognized AI healthcare education initiative in 2026 and his continued work in advancing minimally invasive and robotic paediatric surgery, Dr. Vivek has emerged as a respected voice at the intersection of surgical innovation, medical education, and patient-centred care.
A Gold Medalist during his MBBS training, Dr. Vivek completed his core surgical training at SSG Hospital, Vadodara, one of Western India’s leading teaching and referral centres. He subsequently underwent specialised paediatric surgical training at Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya (CNBC), New Delhi, a premier institution for paediatric surgery in India. To further expand his expertise, he received advanced exposure to minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques at renowned centres including Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Apollo Hospitals. This diverse training pathway has enabled him to develop a practice that integrates technological advancement with evidence-based and compassionate clinical care.
