Bengaluru-based fintech startup FOLO has launched India’s first NetWorth Management App, born out of a deeply personal experience - the founders’ realisation, after losing someone close, of how little visibility families have into their loved ones’ finances.
Founded by Vishal Purohit, a serial entrepreneur, and Munmun Desai, a finance veteran, FOLO (short for Family of Loved Ones) aims to solve a universal problem: money scattered across apps, accounts, and documents that families often struggle to find or claim in times of need.
“When we lost someone dear, we saw how difficult it was to even know what existed -accounts, policies, or investments,” said Munmun Desai, Co-founder, FOLO. “That experience shaped FOLO. We wanted to build a simple, secure app that helps people see, understand, and organise their entire NetWorth and ensure their families never struggle for information again.”
FOLO connects 70+ financial data sources, automatically updates in real-time, and gives users an Account Health Score to identify missing nominees, KYC gaps, or operational risks. Everything stays encrypted and in the user’s control.
