Healthcare
The relentless pursuit of new knowledge, technological developments, and innovation is a hallmark of hospitals and medical systems. Consequently, the healthcare industry has seen dramatic changes, especially after the tough times of COVID-19, which have led to an increased demand for new drugs and treatments, new devices, and new social media support for the medical system.
However, healthcare has never stopped failing patients, and far too often, people in hospitals are still treated as if they have nine lives. According to the World Health Organization, approximately one in ten patients experiences harm in healthcare settings, with unsafe medical practices contributing to over three million deaths each year.
