A high-level business delegation from the province of New Brunswick in Canada is on a four-day two-city tour of India, exploring new business opportunities, forging key partnerships and fostering enhanced trade relations between industry leaders of the two nations. The delegation is being facilitated by Opportunities New Brunswick (ONB), the province’s lead government agency for economic development which promotes business, trade and investments into New Brunswick and is being supported by the India-based Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC). The visit commenced on March 18, 2025.

“With India set to become one of the largest economies in the world, it offers a great growth opportunity,” said Traci Simmons, CEO of ONB. “Indian companies are increasingly interested in North America and New Brunswick is well positioned to capitalize on that interest to the benefit of both jurisdictions. We are looking to strengthen both new and existing relationships in India and lay a foundation for the future.”
