Dr. Udit Bhaskar Vaish, a Resident Doctor in General Medicine at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai, was invited to showcase his clinical work and research at the European Congress of Internal Medicine (ECIM) 2025 in Florence, Italy. The conference, held from March 5-8, 2025, is one of the largest international conferences in internal medicine, bringing together experts from various medical disciplines. It is organized by the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM), a premier organization for internal medicine specialists in Europe.

Dr. Vaish’s work focused on complex cases involving metabolic, cardiac, neurological, endocrine, and renal conditions, particularly those requiring collaborative management across multiple specialties. His research highlighted how overlapping symptoms in these conditions often complicate diagnosis and treatment, emphasizing the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach, especially in time-sensitive and critical case management.
