India consistently ranks among the most forgetful countries in the Asia-Pacific region, while Mumbai was recently ranked the second most forgetful city in the world in Uber's Lost & Found Index. Every year, thousands of phones, wallets, bags, laptops, headphones, passports, and personal belongings are left behind in taxis, airports, hotels, restaurants, offices, and public spaces.
Ironically, India is not facing an honesty problem.
