Forbes Africa has honored Moroccan businesswoman Hasnae Taleb, Managing Partner of Mintiply Capital, by including her in its prestigious "50 Most Influential Women" list for 2026, in recognition of her remarkable career in global finance and investment.
In an extensive profile published in its March issue, Forbes Africa described Hasnae Taleb as a "capital strategist" who turned a lack of privilege into fuel for excellence, and who is today one of the most influential women on Dubai's financial scene.
Hasnae Taleb was born in Kh&eacute;nifra. Her childhood was far from settled, her father's work required the family to move frequently between cities. Her mother, however, remained the one constant, instilling in her from an early age the belief that education alone opens doors. At seventeen, she attended NASA's Space Camp in the United States, where, she says, she encountered for the first time an environment that judged her purely on results, not on where she came from. A few years later, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from American University, followed by an MBA in Asset Management from the University of Bolton, completed in 2019.
Her professional career began at Morgan Stanley, where she learned the fundamentals of working in a rigorous institutional environment: market analysis, risk management, and fast decision-making. She then moved to Nasdaq, becoming one of the first Arab and African women to work within its operations. 2014 marked a turning point: she was officially recognized as the youngest self-made trader. At 23, Hasnae Taleb was executing up to $600 million in daily trading volume in Nasdaq-listed securities. It was from there that a nickname began to stick to her name: "Shewolf of Nasdaq."
Next came Ento Capital, where she served as a Partner and Chief Investment Officer overseeing assets exceeding $4.2 billion. She was the youngest Partner and Chief Investment Officer in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), followed by Fuel Venture Capital as a partner within funds totaling $660 million. In 2022, she decided it was time to build something of her own, launching Mintiply Capital in Dubai, an investment banking advisory firm positioned at the intersection of public markets, private capital, and strategic advisory.
Working in an industry that, for decades, was largely closed to women was never easy. Hasnae Taleb speaks about this candidly: she was often judged before she even spoke. She handled it in her own way, leaving less room for emotional argument and more room for preparation and precision. Over time, the bias she faced became an added driver rather than an obstacle. Those who have worked with her describe someone bold in decision-making yet fiercely protective of capital, a combination rarely found together in high-pressure institutional trading.
Today, Hasnae Taleb also has a notable media presence. She shares her expertise on the program "Awal Malyoun" on Al Mashhad TV, and sits on the international jury of "Les Nouveaux Boss" on TV5 Monde, the first global television competition dedicated to African entrepreneurs. In 2025, she rang the opening bell at the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), another symbolic milestone in a career that shows no signs of slowing down.
Her inclusion on this year's "50 Most Influential Women" list adds another milestone to an already long list of achievements, further cementing her standing as one of the most prominent Moroccan and Arab women in global finance today.
