PanIIT Alumni India, the apex body representing alumni of all Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the globe, has announced its new Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term.
Shri Prabhat Kumar, IRS, an alumnus of IIT Delhi and currently serving as Principal Additional Director General at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN), has been elected as Chairman of PanIIT Alumni India. A senior officer of the Indian Revenue Service, Shri Kumar brings decades of leadership experience in public administration and alumni engagement. He previously served as the Global President of the IIT Delhi Alumni Association.
Joining the new leadership team is Mr. Ashish Kela, CFA, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, who has been elected as Treasurer. With a strong background in global financial markets, Mr. Kela has been an active contributor to the IIT Bombay alumni community.
Mr. Ashok Kumar, an alumnus of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, continues in his role as General Secretary, while Mr. Anurag Goel from IIT Kanpur has been reappointed as Vice Chairman.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prabhat Kumar emphasized the importance of leveraging the strength of the global IIT alumni network to contribute to nation-building through innovation, policy support, and strategic collaborations.
