You&rsquo;re on a highway , the navigation is running, an important work call is underway and suddenly the signal disappears. To understand how widespread the issue has become, POVA commissioned an independent survey conducted by <a href="https://cmrindia.com/highway-call-drops-are-costing-indian-businesses-deals-and-its-not-just-the-network-finds-cmr/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">CyberMedia Research (CMR)</a> among 2,000 smartphone users across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
The findings revealed that nearly 8 to 10 users still face regular connectivity interruptions on highways. Around 79&#37 admitted missing important work calls&nbsp; because of unstable signals during travel, while 67&#37 of business users said dropped calls had directly affected clients, payments or professional opportunities. More than 83&#37 also shared that sudden call disconnections during important conversations create stress and anxiety.
The study also highlighted the impact of POVA&rsquo;s signal focused approach. Among frequent highway travellers using smartphones equipped with advanced triple signal optimisation technology, 81&#37 reported better signal experience, while 74&#37 noticed more reliable calling performance. Another 72&#37 said their devices recovered faster signal after passing through weak network areas
