Namita Thapar is an Indian entrepreneur, business executive, and angel investor. She is the Executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. She has also been a prominent investor in Shark Tank India investing in over 100 companies. She is also the founder of Thapar Entrepreneur Academy. After completing her MBA, she ventured to the US, to take the role of Business Finance head at Guidant Corporation. Later, she relocated to India, where she took the role of CFO at Emcure Pharmaceuticals. She was later appointed as the Executive director of the company. Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company, headquartered in Pune. Emcure's product portfolio includes tablets, capsules (both softgel capsules and hard-gel capsules) and injectables. The company produces gynaecology, cardiovascular, oncology and blood therapeutic drugs, HIV antivirals and other anti-infectives, and vitamins and minerals.

As of March 2024, Agarwal's net worth is estimated to be around ₹16,000 crore. Ritesh Agarwal was born in a Marwari family in Bissam Cuttack, Odisha, India and was brought up in Titilagarh. His family operated a small shop in Rayagada, Odisha. He completed his schooling at Sacred Heart School, and later at St. John's Senior Secondary School, before moving to Delhi in 2011 for college. Agarwal married Geetansha Sood, a native of Lucknow, on 7 March 2023.
