The initiative aims to bring cinematic experiences directly into homes across 41,000 villages, 150+ talukas, and over two crore households - regions in Maharashtra, that have long remained untouched by traditional cinema infrastructure.

The formal inauguration was led by Hon’ble Shri Ashish Shelar, Minister for Information Technology and Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, with Shri Sachin Pilgaonkar, leading Film personality, gracing the occasion as Guest of Honour. Kissa Shuru Talkies Home Cinema bridges the gap between urban multiplexes and rural audiences by enabling same-day access to theatrical releases through a secure, digital distribution network. This innovation not only democratizes entertainment but also opens new avenues for filmmakers and producers to reach millions of untapped viewers.
