Inspired by the excitement of the Indian Premier League 2026, 1win has launched a new initiative to support cricket culture across the nation. Through its philanthropic branch, 1win Charity, the organization restored abandoned cricket grounds and fields across four states in the nation. This restoration by 1win aimed at creating accessible sports facilities for local communities.
As part of the initiative, the 1win Charity team identified neglected cricket fields that had become overgrown, littered, and no longer usable for matches or training. The volunteers cleared the areas of weeds and debris, and brought the fields back to life with basic restoration: fresh pitch markings and boundary setups. 1win also provided local communities with essential cricket equipment such as bats, balls, and gloves, ensuring that local people could actually enjoy playing cricket.
