As India’s technology landscape rapidly evolves with the rise of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and next-generation computing, higher education institutions are increasingly reimagining engineering education to align with industry needs. Among the institutions drawing attention in this space is the School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) at HSNC University, Mumbai, which has announced admissions for the upcoming academic year for both First-Year B.Tech and Direct Second-Year (Lateral Entry) programs.
Speaking about the evolving role of engineering education, Col. Dr. Hemlata K. Bagla, Vice Chancellor, HSNC University, Mumbai said: “Engineering education today must go beyond conventional classroom learning. Students need exposure to emerging technologies, problem-solving environments, industry interactions and innovation-led thinking from the very beginning.
