As the world celebrates Global Wind Day on 15 June, Dharashiv's transformation is a story worth highlighting, what was once considered a water-stressed and economically vulnerable region is now emerging as a key contributor to Maharashtra's clean energy transition.

The transformation is being driven by a combination of geography, climate science, infrastructure investment, and policy support.
