Acclaimed film producer and cultural visionary Farah Sultan Ahmed has expressed her strong support for the upcoming New Waves Summit, scheduled to be held in Mumbai from May 1st to 4th, 2025. The summit aims to bring together the brightest minds in cinema, OTT, and digital storytelling to spotlight the next era of Indian content creation.
Sharing her excitement, Farah stated,

A seasoned producer with decades of experience in Indian cinema, Farah has worked closely on landmark Bollywood projects and has been recognized as a member of the World Book of Records, London, for her outstanding contributions to the industry. She emphasized the need to support emerging voices while preserving cultural richness.
She also praised the summit&rsquo;s forward-thinking approach in creating dedicated platforms and mentorship programs for women creatives.

Farah also praised the Government of India and the Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting for their continued efforts in promoting and empowering the entertainment and creative industry, especially Indian cinema, on both national and global stages.
The World Audio Visual &amp; Entertainment Summit (WAVES) is a key forum for promoting discussions, collaboration, and innovation in the Media &amp; Entertainment (M&amp;E) industry. The event will bring together industry leaders, stakeholders, and innovators to discuss future prospects, address challenges, promote global trade, and influence the sector&rsquo;s trajectory on a global scale.
Farah has been actively involved in industry organizations. She served as an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Motion Pictures Producers&rsquo; Association (IMPPA) from 2002 to 2008, taking on roles such as treasurer and convenor, and addressing several sensitive issues within the industry. She is also well-versed in the film industry&rsquo;s trade policies, having contributed her insights toward shaping fair practices and promoting sustainable growth within the entertainment sector.
Her contributions have been recognized with accolades, including the World Book of Records London &ndash; Certificate of Excellence for her outstanding achievements in the film industry.
