Mukund was born in Bihar and got his education in a Hindi speaking school with poor infrastructure, only to leave a trail of defying all odds to establish MaMITs, an IT and AI consulting company based in Bhopal, with more than 150 national and international clients.
Mukund was raised in a limited environment and not an accessible one. He had to depend on his own learning and perseverance without exposure to elite institutions or a living environment where people speak fluent English. His transfer to Bhopal to do a B.Tech in Computer Science at RGPV was a breakthrough. Similar to most first generation entrepreneurs, he started freelancing in college to earn money to feed himself, an experience which would form the basis of his future company.
Mukund established MaMITs when he was still a student in 2015. What began as a small scale freelancing firm slowly turned into a full scale digital solutions corporation. MaMITs is currently focused on ecommerce systems and enterprise platforms, AI based analytics, and business automation tools. The company has completed more than 1,100 projects and assisted startups, SMEs, and businesses to streamline operations and grow fast.
MaMITs is also one among its peers that has been bootstrapped and has grown without any external funds. This autonomy has enabled Mukund to concentrate on long term value creation as opposed to short term valuation measures.
