As part of the nationwide observance of Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 (1–15 July), GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, has undertaken a series of cleanliness, hygiene and community engagement initiatives across its offices, plants, project sites and operational locations throughout the country. The fortnight-long campaign reflects GAIL's continued commitment towards promoting environmental responsibility, public participation and sustainable practices in alignment with the vision of Swachh Bharat Mission.

During the observance, GAIL organized a wide range of activities designed to encourage cleanliness as a collective responsibility while creating lasting awareness across communities. These initiatives included cleanliness drives, Swachhata Pledge ceremonies, awareness rallies, tree plantation programmes, waste segregation campaigns, health check-up camps, painting competitions, Waste-to-Wealth competitions, distribution of dustbins at public institutions, hygiene awareness programmes in schools and community outreach activities across multiple locations.
