On April 28, the National Centre “Russia” hosted the ceremonial opening of the 2nd Open Dialogue “The Future of the World: A New Platform for Global Growth.” The participants were addressed with a welcoming speech by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. He noted that in a short period of time, the Open Dialogue has reached a global scale and has become a significant platform for professional communication - “without the imposition of viewpoints and without the dominance of ideas that are declared in advance by someone as the only correct ones.”

“Dear friends, ladies and gentlemen, I welcome the participants and guests of the Second International Forum ‘Open Dialogue’ to the capital of Russia, Moscow. Its geography, without exaggeration, covers the entire planet. Experts, business leaders, and researchers from 120 countries took part in the essay competition and creative works, including representatives from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Australia, North America, and South America. All authors and researchers, with different experiences and perspectives, were united by a strong and bold idea - to form a shared understanding of the future - the future of a world that has entered an era of profound structural changes,” said Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
