As artificial intelligence reshapes the future of work, educators are increasingly asking whether traditional examinations can truly capture the skills students need. A new initiative by Rishihood University argues that curiosity not memorisation could be one of the most valuable competencies for the next generation.

For decades, India's education system has largely measured academic success through marks, rankings and board examination scores. While these metrics evaluate what students know, they often leave little room to assess how students think, how they question, connect ideas, solve unfamiliar problems or approach complexity.
