Gurjinder Singh Gavy, a young community leader, General Secretary of IOC Youth Australia, and President of the Student Union, has been honoured with the La Trobe Multicultural Award 2024 in recognition of his meaningful contribution to multicultural communities and public service in Australia.

The award was presented by Jason Wood MP, Federal Member for La Trobe and Shadow Minister for Community Safety, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs, acknowledging Gurjinder Singh Gavy’s consistent efforts in community engagement, migrant support, and social inclusion.
