Bollywood star Kajol seems to currently be soaking in the festive spirit, and her latest social media post simply screams volumes of the same. The actress, in her pictures shared on her social media account, is seen dressed in a dazzling green ensemble. The actress struck a playful note as she captioned her photos, “Since ’tis the season… I decided to match a Christmas tree,” also adding a Christmas tree emoticon. The outfit, with rich emerald tones and a sparkle finish, perfectly resonated with the caption and echoed the joy of the festival around the corner. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kajol Devgan (@kajol) The actress had recently been turning heads with her talk show, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, which she co-hosted with her long-time friend and former actress, Twinkle Khanna. December also marked a significant milestone in Kajol’s career. The actress, just a few days ago, joined Shah Rukh Khan at London’s Leicester Square to unveil the bronze statue of their iconic characters, Raj and Simran, on the 30th anniversary of their all-time superhit movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Talking about the same, Kajol revealed that when they were making the film, they never imagined it would become a global phenomenon for Indians and South Asians. Kajol said, “It's been 30 years, and we are happy to say it's the longest-running film not only in India but in the world, and it's actually gone into the Guinness Book of World Records, so I'm super kicked to be a part of it. I don't think we planned for DDLJ to become a global phenomenon for Indians and South Asians. I think somewhere down the line that DDLJ has become kind of a touchstone for Indians living abroad.” She further spoke about how the statue will make Indians and South Asians proud not only in the UK but all over the world. “I think for all Indians who stay in the UK or come here, it might become a moment to go see the statue, to recognise their nostalgia for the film, and there is also a familiarity, and there is also a massive pull towards it. So, I’m hoping that everyone feels that touch of home when they see us here in Leicester Square," Kajol added. The DDLJ actress also spoke about what the honour means to her. She said, “It’s incredible to see Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge continue to receive so much love, even 30 years later. Watching the statue being unveiled in London felt like reliving a piece of our history, a story that has truly travelled across generations.” This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. 11 December,2025 12:05 PM IST | Mumbai | IANSActress Sara Arjun has penned a deeply heartfelt note for filmmaker Aditya Dhar, crediting him for shaping her journey during the making of Dhurandhar. She went on to call him invincible, untouchable, and greatest of all times (GOAT) of them all. Sharing an image with Dhar on Instagram, Sara wrote that one of the greatest things she has gained from the film is the filmmaker’s presence in her life. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sara Arjun (@saraarjunn) “To the real DhuranDHAR with a golden heart and the courage to trust. Dearest Aditya sir. You indeed are invincible, untouchable, and the goat of them all! One of the most important things I’ve earned from Dhurandhar is your presence,” she wrote. Sara said she looks up to him as the kind of person she hopes to grow into — “brilliant, but grounded; accomplished, yet a pure soul.” “You carry so much wisdom, the kind that only life, time, and experience can teach. And what I admire most is how all of it has made you even more humble. When I look at you, I see the kind of person I hope to shape myself into: brilliant, but grounded; accomplished, yet such a pure soul.” “I truly feel God has been kind to me, because at every stage of my journey, I’ve been guided by people with genuinely good hearts, and you’re one of the finest among them. The world deserves to know the kind of extraordinary human you are.” Reflecting on his leadership on set, Sara shared that Dhar never raised his voice or lost composure, yet held the team together with patience and calm. She wrote: “The way you led all of us, with patience, with composure, without ever raising your voice or losing your calm, it reflected on screen. You were the strength that held us together. You are not the silence before the storm, you are the silence that caused it.” The actress said that Dhar dreams without limits, and watching him dream so freely, she let her own dreams grow larger. “And watching your dreams come true makes me believe that anything is possible. A huge part of why I’ve become so open, uninhibited, and so receiving as a person is because I trusted you. You taught me that,” Sara added. In an industry defined by pressure and fear of failure, Sara praised Dhar for choosing patience over shortcuts. “In an industry shaped by pressure, expectations, and the fear of getting things wrong, You chose patience to take a step back and work so hard that no one can question the product. And then, without noise, without distractions, without even a hint of arrogance.” “You went for it. How you always say, 'Arjun ki nazar sirf aankh par thi'. Your vision doesn’t bend for convenience. And in staying true to that vision, you quietly teach others to do the same.” Talking about what stayed with her most, Sara said: “What mattered most was not just the freedom you gave me, but the grace with which you gave it. You never made me feel new, small, or grateful just to be present. You made me feel capable.” “I will always remember the safety of the space you created within it. Where questions were welcome. Where growth felt natural. Thank you for giving me the rarest gift of all, a safe space to dream big.” This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. 11 December,2025 10:51 AM IST | Mumbai | ANIMake-up and prosthetics artiste Preetisheel, who has designed the looks of actors in the recently released film Dhurandhar, is sharing insights into the look of Akshaye Khanna’s character, Rehman Dakait, in the film. On Wednesday, she took to her Instagram and shared a series of pictures of the actor from the film. She also penned a long note, and shared how the character was brought to life with prosthetics and make-up. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Preetisheel Singh (@preetisheel) She wrote, “Designing the legendary akshayekhanna ‘s look for Dhurandhar was all about capturing the subtle intensity he brings to every frame. We built his appearance around clean structures, controlled detailing and tones that highlight his strong features without overpowering the character. Watching the look come alive through his performance made the entire process incredibly rewarding”. With an ensemble led by Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal, individuality and consistency had to coexist. Preetisheel explained that the script demanded a visual universe where every character’s appearance felt rooted in the same soil but still distinct enough to instantly communicate personality. She said in a statement, “I put a lot of thought into even the secondary and tertiary characters as well because they each had their own quirks and unique traits”. “Showing their rawness through makeup was important to me. Adding detailed layers and textures helped bring out who they really were, making even the briefest appearances feel real and lived-in. Hair became a key storytelling tool, evolving across the film to show time, pressure, and emotional shifts. Even little elements like scars, tanning, sweat, and dust were added with purpose and matched meticulously for continuity. And the blood work and prosthetics took things to another level; some of it is genuinely stomach-churning”, she added. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. 11 December,2025 09:04 AM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentRanveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is enjoying a monstrous run at the box office. Touted as one of the biggest films of 2025, it is earning praise from all corners for its raw depiction and authentic portrayals. However, a section of the audience is also miffed by its portrayal of Pakistani politics. Amid this, Hrithik Roshan took to social media and praised Aditya Dhar’s directorial. Hrithik Roshan praises Dhurandhar On Wednesday, the actor took to his Instagram Stories and shared his views. He praised the project for its storytelling, adding that he did not align with its political stance. Hrithik wrote, “I love cinema. I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them, shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema. I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can’t ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing.” Before this, Hrithik Roshan backed Yami Gautam when she called out Bollywood’s “paid hype” trend as a growing threat to the industry ahead of Dhurandhar’s release. She had written, “This so-called trend of giving money, in the disguise of marketing a film, to ensure good ‘hype’ for a film is created or else ‘they’ will continuously write negative things (even before the film is released), until you pay ‘them’ money, feels nothing but a kind of extortion.” Other celebs who praised Dhurandhar Apart from Hrithik, War 2 director Siddharth Anand praised Ranveer Singh’s film and called it a nasha.
