The first schedule of the film was being shot in Goa the team is currently shooting in Mumbai. While Batra has been tight-lipped about the film, choosing to only describe it as a "domestic noir" offering, the source says the story revolves around two young couples. "The movie studies the relationship dynamics between four friends who go on a road trip."

After several delays due to the pandemic, the Karan Johar production went on floors in Goa in the second week of September. The unit, which has adopted the bio-bubble mode, had been put up at the Vivanta Goa hotel in Panjim.

Ananya Panday also is seen leaving post the shooting in Bandra suburbs. Ananya, who was last seen in Khaali Peeli opposite Ishaan Khatter, was in good spirits as she was clicked in her car.

Ananya Panday also took her mask out to pose for the photographers from her car as she spotted them. The actress was away from family and home for 2 months on the first schedule of the film in Goa. She even celebrated her birthday on the sets. 

Ananya Panday talking about the same said, "I just returned from Goa after two months, I was shooting my next film with Shakun Batra. I was definitely nervous the first time shooting in the pandemic but once we started shooting, it was really reassuring to see that all the safety precautions were taken. I realised how much I missed being on set and in front of the camera and I’m really glad that I can get back to work now and I’m really looking forward to shooting my next with Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jaganath sir. It was definitely challenging shooting in the middle of a pandemic and being away from home for two months, but once I’m on set I’m the happiest."

The director Shakun Batra was also clicked with the cast in Bandra.
