On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's directorial Chhapaak. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika Padukone will play Malti, while the film also stars Vikrant Massey as the male lead. Vikrant Massey's character is modelled on Agarwal's partner Alok Dixit who is the founder of Stop Acid Attacks campaign. The film is set to release on 10th January 2020.

Deepika Padukone will also be seen in Ranveer Singh-starrer '83. She will be playing the role of Kapil Dev's wife, Romi Bhatia. The beautiful couple will be sharing the screen for the first time since their wedding.

As for Ranveer Singh, the actor is currently shooting for Kabir Khan's '83. The film is based on India's maiden victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup in which they won against West Indies in the finals. The film is presented by Reliance Entertainment and is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Riteish Deshmukh along with wife Genelia Deshmukh, who turned a year older today (August 5), was also spotted at the Mumbai airport.
